Islands at War
Command the skies as chief battle strategist in NetStorm, where floating islands wage war to gain the favor of the Furies of Wind, Rain and Thunder. Tap the power of the elements to set the sky ablaze with never-before-imagined war machinery, inc luding Thunder Cannons, Acid Barricades, Crystal Crabs and Devil Makers.

Ritual Sacrifice
By capturing an enemy High Priest and sacrificing him to the Furies, players gain the favor of their patron Fury. The more priests that are sacrificed, the more the Furies smile upon your tribe and grant additional Knowledge. This newly acquired learn ing helps build bigger, more powerful units with which you continue your struggle to dominate the skies.

The War Rages On
Unlike other multi-player games, every battle in NetStorm counts towards each player's overall ranking. You control your own island and its library of knowledge until the very end of a campaign. Every victory improves the island's military stre ngth, increases your level of experience and better prepares you for the next battle.

Super-Strategy Gameplay
NetStorm is not just another real-time action strategy clone. Strategic thinking replaces the all-out tank rush as the key to victory. Unit placement, not micromanagement, is critical to domination of Nimbus. As islands clash, placement of a g iven unit is as crucial to the outcome of the battle as which unit has been created.
The Harder They Come ...
The more powerful the weapon of destruction, the greater the weakness that handicaps the unit. The almighty but unidirectional Thunder Cannon, for example, can be reduced to rubble by the less powerful, yet methodical attacks of a single strategically placed Sun Disc Thrower. In order to succeed, players must learn to capitalize on their own units' strengths and exploit their enemies' weaknesses.

Aggression Rewarded
The Furies of Nimbus look favorably upon warlike islands and reward their aggression: no more hiding and hoarding the way to victory. NetStorm places a premium on obliterating enemies, plundering their resources and increase the players' own sto rm power. The more you destroy and plunder, the greater the resources and strength you gain for your island. To the aggressive victor go the spoils of war.
